An Angel Visits Mary

A young woman named Mary lived in Nazareth.
She was going to marry Joseph, a carpenter.

One day, an angel visited her.
He said to her,
"Hello Mary!
The Lord is with you."
Yes. She was scared.
He said to her,
"Don't be afraid.
God is pleased with you"

And he said,
"You are going to have a special baby.
You must name Him Jesus.
He will be called the Son of the Most high God"

Mary asked,
"How can this be?
I am not married"
He answered,
"Nothing is impossible with God"

Mary said,
"I serve the Lord.
Let ti happen to me."
Yes. She was very happy.
And she praised God.
