An ethnic Korean has thrown his hat into the ring in Bolivia's presidential race in October. Chung Chi-hyun, the 49-year-old pastor son of a pastor, moved to the country in 1982 at the age of 12.
Chung says he was motivated to run for the top office because he opposed several of the incumbent administration's policies. Most experts agree that Chung has next to no chance of winning, however if he does, he hopes to recreate Korea's Miracle on the Han, but this time on the Rio Madeira.
