Dior looks chosen by each member of BTS himself have become the talk of the town.
Wearing a new stage outfit created through a collaboration with French luxury brand Dior to mark the world tour of "Love Yourself: SPEAK YOURSELF," BTS took the spotlight on the stage at Los Angeles Rose Bowl Stadium on April 4 and 5.
Dior's seven new looks, mixed with Bomber, cargo pants and milli-style sweaters, are known to have chosen the look each member himself as a sportswear look that perfectly matches BTS' hybrid style.
The outfits, featuring the modern sense of Dior Manswear Artistic Director Kim Jones, are inspired by BTS members based on the Dior Men's Wear 2019 Prepol collection, adding to the speciality as they are the brand's first production outfits for pop bands.
"All the members of the Bangtan Boys have their own strong taste and style," Kim Jones said. "Everyone chose the look they wanted, and we worked very systematically to cheer them up, and it was a lot of fun."
"I think it's meaningful that I designed the stage costume for the first time as a male artist in Dior," BTS said through its agency Big Hit Entertainment. "We shared the design inspired by our stage and music, and we completed the stage costume together by talking to each other based on that design."
Meanwhile, the corresponding Dior Looks will heat up the stage with BTS in all of BTS' worldwide stadium tour "Love Yourself: SPEAK YOURSELF," which will take place in London, Paris and Sao Paulo, starting on May 4.

봄버와 카고 팬츠, 밀리터리 스타일의 스웨터가 믹스매치 된 디올의 7가지 새로운 룩들은 방탄소년단이 지닌 하이브리드 스타일에 완벽하게 어울리는 스포츠웨어 룩으로 각 멤버들이 직접 자신이 원하는 룩을 선택했다고 알려졌다.
디올 맨즈웨어 아티스틱 디렉터인 킴 존스의 현대적인 감각이 돋보이는 이번 의상들은 디올 맨즈웨어 2019 프리폴 컬렉션을 기반으로 방탄소년단의 멤버들에게서 영감을 얻어 완성된 것으로, 브랜드 최초로 팝 밴드를 위한 제작 의상이라 특별함을 더한다.
킴 존스는 “방탄소년단 멤버 모두 자신만의 확고한 취향과 스타일을 가지고 있다”라며 “각 멤버가 자신이 원하는 룩을 선택했으며 우리는 이 의상들을 환성하기 위해 매우 체계적으로 작업했으며, 이 작업은 매우 즐거웠다”라고 전했다.
