Five dead, gunman in custody after shooting at Capital Gazette building in Annapolis, police say

Police, who arrived at the shooting scene within a minute of the reported gunfire, apprehended a gunman found hiding under a desk in the newsroom, according to the county’s executive.

Several others were injured in a shooting at the offices of the Capital Gazette newspaper in Annapolis, Md., the authorities said. The gunman is in custody and is being interrogated.
